Snapchat Plus

SnapChat Plus allows users more flexibility than the standard SnapChat app.

SnapChat has rapidly become one of the most major social media platforms among younger people. With transient image-sharing that uses time-based deletion and notifications to users if a picture they send is recorded by the recipient, the standard app lacks flexibility that some users desire.

SnapChat Plus allows users to record videos and pictures they receive without the sender knowing. It also lets users upload pre-existing images to SnapChat, while the standard app requires users to use a phone camera to take a picture in real-time. This modified version also has an array of interface customization options, as well as a feature that allows recipients to not send a "read receipt" letting the sender know that their message or picture was seen.

The only major downside is that SnapChat Plus is not officially allowed by SnapChat, so some users experience account issues.
